Introduction and Disclaimer, Terms and Conditions

So WordPress suggests that every ‘blog’ begin with an introduction. That seems fair, although if you have read my Manifesto I think you already have some idea of what you’re dealing with.

The problem with an introduction is that suddenly you have to think about how much you want to reveal about yourself.

Do you lay it all out and let the chips fall where they may, or do you hold something back for your own sense of security? After all, we live in a reactionary world, where personal opinion is suddenly absolute and sacrosanct, and crazies and trolls abound…

I have decided I will just let my writing do the talking.

What you read is what you get. Its who I am. If you don’t like it, please feel free to go read something else by someone else. Because from here on, I am unapologetic.

I am unrepentant.

If you stay, you will come across plenty of questionable subject matter, find yourself exposed to strongly held opinion, and be repeatedly subjected to ‘bad’ language.

My views are entirely my own.

I will never insist that you subscribe to my beliefs. You don’t have to agree with me in any way. But this site is not a forum for discussion. So if you wish to object to anything I post here, fuck off and get your own blog.

Where possible, I will use my own photos and videos. But sometimes I may find them from other sources. I will – if I am able – credit the source of these. When I dont have that info, I will specify the work is not mine.

For instance, the photo above is mine. That’s my cat Poteen.

The brilliant photo on my Welcome page, is not mine, and is copyright. The photographers info is in the top right hand corner.
